The internal combustion engine used by Gabriel Bortoleto is one (1) of the four (4) new internal combustion engines allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is in compliance with B8.2.2 a) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following driver will start the eighteenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new turbocharger (TC): Number Car Driver Previously used TC 05 Audi Gabriel Bortoleto 3 The turbocharger used by Gabriel Bortoleto is one (1) of the four (4) new turbochargers allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is in compliance with B8.2.2 b) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following driver will start the eighteenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new exhaust set (EXH): Number Car Driver Previously used EXH 05 Audi Gabriel Bortoleto 3 The exhaust set used by Gabriel Bortoleto is one (1) of the four (4) new exhaust sets allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is in compliance with B8.2.2 c) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following driver will start the eighteenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new energy store unit (ES): Number Car Driver Previously used ES 05 Audi Gabriel Bortoleto 3 The energy store unit used by the above drivers is the fourth (4 th ) of the three (3) new energy store units allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is not in compliance with B8.2.2 d) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following drivers will start the eighteenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new control electronics unit (PU-CE): Number Car Driver Previously used PU-CE 05 Audi Gabriel Bortoleto 3 43 Alpine Mercedes Franco Colapinto 3 The control electronics unit used by Gabriel Bortoleto and Franco Colapinto is the fourth (4 th ) of the three (3) new control electronics units allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is not in compliance with B8.2.2 e) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. The following drivers will start the eighteenth Competition of the 2026 Formula One World Championship with a new power unit ancillary component (PU-ANC): Number Car Driver Previously used PU-ANC 81 McLaren Mercedes Oscar Piastri 4 12 Mercedes Kimi Antonelli 5 55 Atlassian Williams Mercedes Carlos Sainz 4 05 Audi Gabriel Bortoleto 5 The power unit ancillary component used by the above drivers is one (1) of the six (6) new power unit ancillary components allowed for the 2026 Championship season and this is in compliance with B8.2.2 g) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
