2026 DUTCH GRAND PRIX 21 - 23 August 2026 The Stewards From The Stewards To The Team Manager, BWT Alpine F1 Team Document 63 Date 23 August 2026 Time 16:27 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following: No / Driver 43 - Franco Colapinto Competitor BWT Alpine F1 Team Time 15:04 Session Race Fact Car 43 overtook Car 22 in a double yellow flag sector Infringement Breach of Article B1.8.4b of the FIA F1 Regulations. Decision Drive through penalty. 2 penalty points (total of 3 for the 12 month period). Reason The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, timing and in-car video evidence. Car 43 was behind Car 22 entering Turn 14 and overtook Car 22 in the double yellow flag sector before the Line at the end of Lap 1. Normally such infringement requires a 10 second stop/go penalty, but the Stewards acknowledge the complications caused by the significant amount of debris on track at this point and take this into account as mitigating circumstances. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
