2026 DUTCH GRAND PRIX 21 - 23 August 2026 The Stewards From The Stewards To The Team Manager, Atlassian Williams F1 Team Document 68 Date 23 August 2026 Time 18:08 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, have considered the following matter and determine the following: No / Driver 55 - Carlos Sainz Competitor Atlassian Williams F1 Team Time 17:04 Session Race Fact Causing a collision with Car 23 in Turn 1. Infringement Breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 d) of the FIA International Sporting Code. Decision 10 second time penalty. Reason The Stewards reviewed video and in-car video evidence. The driver of Car 55 defended an overtaking attempt by Car 23 on the inside into Turn 1, but locked up and caused a collision between both cars. The Stewards determine that the driver of Car 55 was wholly at fault and issue the standard penalty for such incidents. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
