Decision The competitor (McLaren Mastercard F1 Team) is fined €5,000. This fine is suspended for a period of 12 months subject to no further breach of a similar nature. Reason The Stewards heard from the driver of Car 1 (Lando Norris) and the team representative. The driver explained he was delayed at a previous commitment. Noting that in accordance with Article 9.15.1 of the FIA International Sporting Code, the Competitor is responsible for the actions of its driver, the penalty is imposed on the Competitor.
