2026 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX 22 - 24 May 2026 From The Stewards To The Team Manager, TGR Haas F1 Team Document 64 Date 23 May 2026 Time 15:41 The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, summoned (document 59) and heard from the team representative, have considered the following matter and determine the following: No / Driver 31 - Esteban Ocon Competitor TGR Haas F1 Team Time 11:56 Session Sprint Fact Car 31 was reported as having air released on the left rear tyre with the wheel fitted to the car. Infringement Alleged breach of Point 2.5, Point 2.7 and Point 2.8 of FIA-F1-DOC-062A Tyre Operating Procedure Decision No further action. Reason The Stewards heard from the team Sporting Director, team Engineer, the FIA Technical Delegate and the Grid Scrutineer assigned to Car 31, and reviewed video evidence from Car 11 (the car behind Car 31 on the grid), and from the FIA grid camera for position 14 (the starting position for Car 31). The Stewards also inspected the tyre blanket and tyre pressure guage from Car 31. This video evidence proved conclusively that there was no breach of the regulations in that there was no contact with the tyre that would have resulted in pressure being released. The report received was based on a visual report from the Scrutineer who witnessed a crew member of Car 31 holding what appeared to be an air hose connected to the tyre but was in fact the electrical cable for the tyre blanket. The cable was almost identical in appearance to the air hose and could easily have been mistaken for the latter. Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits. Decisions of the Stewards are taken independently of the FIA and are based solely on the relevant regulations, guidelines and evidence presented.
